Kids Making It is a youth woodworking program that teaches vocational, entrepreneurial and life skills to at-risk, low income and disadvantaged youth.
We stopped by on Saturday afternoon. Chris gave us a tour of the wood shop. The kids get to keep 100% of the profit of anything they sell. We bought a shark made by Danny. They sell cutting boards, ornaments, pens, artwork and more in the gift shop.
BlueCoast Realty had custom Christmas ornaments made. I had a custom name tag made. The artwork is amazing!
They are open Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 11am to 4pm. Closed on Sundays. They are located across the street from Gravity Records.
