I never thought a Wawa would open in Wilmington, NC, let alone one between Veterans Park and the island. I almost cried happy tears when I bought a soft pretzel.

Wawa opened today on the river side of Carolina Beach Road at the intersection with Myrtle Grove Road. It's on the right side as you drive towards Pleasure Island.
